Elise (she/her) leads local and sector efforts to ensure Nonprofit Finance Fund’s work is driven by community. In this role, she builds partnerships with community-centered organizations, designs programs and strategies, and leads research efforts to drive a more impactful, adaptable, and equitable social sector. Elise joined NFF in 2015 as a member of the Consulting team, and in that role she worked with nonprofit leaders to tackle complex financial challenges and supported partnerships, cohorts, and collaboratives with strategic financial planning. Prior to joining NFF, she worked on the research team at Vera Institute of Justice, conducting data analysis and evaluation for immigration legal services programs. She has also worked at Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners, The Robin Hood Foundation, and Federal Defenders of New York. Elise holds a Master of Business Administration from Columbia Business School, a Master of Social Work from Columbia School of Social Work, and a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy, politics, and economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW).
