Ben (he/him) joined NFF in July 2025 as an Initiative Support Associate in the Consulting department. In this role, he supports the consulting practice through the project management of client initiatives and engagements, team logistics, data integrity, and outcomes measurement.
Ben’s passion for the nonprofit sector was shaped early on by his parents – his mother worked in early childhood education nonprofits, and his father specialized in financing bonds for municipalities and organizations to build housing for those in need.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, majoring in urban and environmental policy, with minors in education and religious studies.
Ben has since worked with organizations focused on housing, health, and community development. He returned to the nonprofit sector to join NFF after a brief hiatus during which he pursued a woodworking apprenticeship – an interest he continues as a hobby. Outside of work, Ben enjoys traveling, playing sports (especially golf), and spending time with friends, family, and his cat.
