With over 15 years of experience in banking and lending, Gladys has managed portfolios exceeding $200 million and structured deals involving NMTC, LIHTC, grants, and bridge financing. Prior to NFF, she held senior roles at F&M Bank and Citizens Business Bank, specializing in commercial construction portfolio management and commercial real estate. A proactive risk leader, Gladys has driven policy and process improvements that significantly reduced construction loan risk and improved project outcomes. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from California State University, Sacramento, and is known for her technical rigor, collaborative style, and commitment to equity and financial inclusion.
