At NFF, Chris Huang (he/him) underwrites working capital and facility loans for nonprofits that help them fulfill their missions and increase community wealth and well-being.
Prior to NFF, Chris was the head of Accion Opportunity Fund’s New Markets Tax Credits program, where he led the deployment of $191 million in NMTC investments in the western US that financed the construction or rehabilitation of nonprofit community facilities providing quality jobs and safety net services in underserved communities.
Before this, Chris was Director of Operations at the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs. He also previously worked at nonprofits advocating for racial justice, economic justice, and immigrants’ rights. He has a Master of Business Administration from the NYU Stern School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Chicago.
