The economic recovery is not offering signs of relief for the nonprofit sector, and many organizations are now looking to new models of funding, according to the results of the 2014 State of the Nonprofit Sector Survey. Our survey data suggests that nonprofits are increasingly collaborating to reduce administrative expenses, developing reserves to manage government funding, changing their business model, using debt as a financial tool and gathering data on the outcomes and impact of their work.
