Anne Robinson (she/her) is the Senior Director of Education Lending and the Charter School Program at Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF), where she leads efforts to expand access to financing for mission-driven schools and education nonprofits. With a strong focus on equity, policy, and community impact, Anne cultivates a broad national network of educators and school leaders seeking values-aligned capital solutions. She represents NFF’s education lending externally and serves as a thought leader in the sector.
Prior to joining NFF, Anne served as General Counsel and later Executive Director of the Charter School Incubator Initiative, a nonprofit real estate organization supporting public charter schools through facility acquisition, modernization financing, and project management. She also led oversight and budgeting for D.C.’s education agencies as Committee Director & General Counsel on the D.C. City Council. Earlier in her career, she worked as a federal and state policy advocate for nonprofit clients and held a role in the Pennsylvania Governor’s Office.
Anne holds a Juris Doctor from the University of the District of Columbia and a bachelor’s degree from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. She serves on the board of D.C. Bilingual Public Charter School, the John Apple Swim Fund, and leads a Girl Scout troop. She lives with her husband and three daughters in Washington, D.C.
