Sean Doss (he/him), Director of Loan Originations at Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF), leads business development for new lending opportunities to nonprofits and mission driven social enterprises primarily in Los Angeles and Southern California markets.
Prior to joining NFF, Doss served three years at California Community Foundation, managing its Program Related Investment portfolio and led grantmaking, strategy development, and community engagement for housing and two years as a FUSE Fellow and Executive Advisor to the City of Los Angeles Housing Department where he spearheaded efforts to implement a plan to modernize and streamline the department’s housing development operations. Additionally, Doss previously served 20 years in leadership roles at major banking and finance institutions where he was instrumental in investment management and commercial lending to national real estate developers and investors of commercial projects across the US.
Sean earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
