Sue leads NFF’s lending in support of affordable, supportive and workforce housing, working throughout NFF’s footprint and across multidisciplinary teams. She builds and broadens external relationships with clients and lending partners and supports efforts to raise capital for NFF’s housing sector lending. Working with NFF’s financing team, Sue is leading the effort to create customized loan products, lending policies, and guidelines for this expanding sector.
Sue’s prior experience includes both developing and financing affordable housing. She led real estate development regionally at a large mid-Atlantic based affordable housing developer, served as a development consultant, and worked at several community development financial institutions where she managed the affordable housing financing team, oversaw technical assistance and consulting activities, and provided loans to nonprofit and for profit developers. Sue was a founding board member of Women in Housing Finance-PA, served on the Pennsylvania Developer’s Council board, and as a member of the Philadelphia LISC Preservation Network.
