Building From the Inside Out: The Philadelphia Dance Community’s Infrastructure Needs

In 2001, there were many theaters in Philadelphia, but none built specifically for dance; there was no primary locus for the dance community to rehearse, congregate and exchange ideas. As the Nonprofit Finance Fund studied the situation, it discovered that the facilities needs of the Philadelphia dance community were more complicated than it initially appeared.
