Soyoung (So) Jung (she/her) is a Manager on the Consulting team at the Nonprofit Finance Fund (NFF), where she brings a background in strategic planning and a commitment to community-centered change. Before joining NFF, So worked as a consultant at Schultz & Williams, partnering with nonprofits across the country to co-create practical, three- to five-year strategic plans. Her earlier experiences include leading development and outreach at Penn Asian Senior Services, using art to promote educational access with A Book a Day, and conducting national research studies at Cornell University’s Survey Research Institute.
While completing her master's in Social Policy at the University of Pennsylvania, So focused on aging policy and the ways social change can improve quality of life for older adults—an interest that continues to shape her approach to inclusive planning and equity-driven work. She also holds a bachelor's degree in Development Sociology and Law from Cornell University and is certified in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
So currently serves as Vice President of The Spruce Foundation and sits on the Advisory Board of A Book a Day, where she helps shape strategies that support youth education and community philanthropy in Philadelphia. Across her work, So is grounded in a commitment to connection—bringing people together through inclusive planning, collaborative decision-making, and thoughtful engagement.
Outside of work, you can find her at a high-energy Zumba class, enjoying a round of golf with her partner, or hanging out at home with her furry crew.
