Dominique Hugg

With a passion for problem-solving and connecting people with practical processes and solutions, Dominique (she/her/hers) serves in the Consulting Department as the Director of Practice Management at NFF. In this role, she orchestrates the alignment of policies, data, and processes to support the consulting team in delivering impactful solutions. Over her roughly 10-year tenure at NFF, she has held various internal operational roles and engaged with numerous nonprofit clients through one-on-one engagements and workshops, guiding them through changes, challenges, and opportunities. She leverages these experiences in her current role to implement efficient processes and lead direct support teams, fostering seamless internal connectivity to propel NFF's mission forward.

Dominique's expertise lies in understanding the nuanced needs of nonprofits and working with leaders to make informed, data-driven decisions that amplify their mission and drive tangible impact. Prior to her tenure at NFF, Dominique honed her strategic acumen through a master’s in political science from Lehigh University, where she developed a keen understanding of policy dynamics. Her professional journey further saw her shaping operational procedures as the Operations and Planning Coordinator for the Northampton County Department of Human Services, underscoring her commitment to effecting positive change at both local and national levels.

Outside of work, Dominique finds solace in spending time with her family, exploring different beaches, and seeking out parks with activities suitable for toddlers. These moments of connection and exploration not only recharge her spirit but also inspire her work, reminding her of the importance of empathy and understanding in every endeavor.
