Clinette White

One of the things that brought me to NFF is the partnerships with charter schools all over the nation. I taught at charter schools for many years and have witnessed firsthand the many struggles of charter schools just to stay afloat. My experience in these schools motivated me to become more involved with my community and be the change I wanted to see among the students, families, and my professional family.

My previous experience in charter schools and my zeal to make a difference in my community and many others was my inspiration for pursuing a position in the nonprofit sector. Working in this sector also affords me the opportunity to demonstrate the qualities that matter most to me: compassion, empathy, accountability, collaboration and cooperation. At NFF, I am in a great position to demonstrate these qualities, knowing I will have an impact on the people I work with as well.

When I am not fulfilling my duties at NFF, my hobbies include fitness, reading, writing in my journal, writing poetry, and learning the language of a country I intend to visit.
