Bhavani brings over 20 years of experience, with expertise in finance, risk management, strategy implementation, and innovative leadership. Her passion for impact investing and commitment to addressing inequities in housing, education, healthcare, and wealth creation make her an ideal addition to our mission-driven team.
Throughout her career, Bhavani has made significant contributions in various leadership roles. She has served as Interim CFO at Capital for Change, COO at Connecticut Housing Finance Authority, Managing Director at Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, and held senior positions at Deutsche Bank and MetLife Real Estate Investors. A former professor at New York University, she enjoys teaching and believes learning is a lifelong endeavor.
She serves on the Board and Finance Committees at both Community Vision and Connecticut Housing Partners, a nonprofit affordable housing developer. Bhavani also volunteers for Heart and Hand for the Handicapped and is involved with groups like the Urban Land Institute, Opportunity Finance Network, Commercial Real Estate for Women, and the Mortgage Bankers Association.
