Anne Robinson

Anne (she/her) has spent her career working in both the public and private sectors and is passionate about how policy, access to equitable financing, and the law impact our nation’s children and families. At NFF, Anne is the Director of the National Charter School Lending program where she is developing and maintaining a broad network of mission- and value-aligned charter schools in need of financing. She represents NFF’s charter school program externally and serves as the charter school market leader.


Bio: Prior to joining NFF, Anne was the Executive Director of the Charter School Incubator Initiative supporting charter schools via facility acquisition, modernization financing, and project management. Anne formerly served as the Committee Director & General Counsel of the Committee on Education for Washington, D.C. City Council, overseeing the performance and budgets of all education-related agencies. Prior to being in public education, she worked in intergovernmental affairs in Pennsylvania and Washington, D.C.

Anne received her JD from the University of the District of Columbia and her bachelor's from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. She currently serves on the Board of D.C. Bilingual Public Charter School and on the Advisory Council for the Urban Institute’s D.C. Education Research Consortium. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Anne resides with her husband and daughters in D.C.
